The most memorable thing that Lori has ever talked about in interviews is that actions bring about opportunities. This is one of her advice to the many women she mentors. According to Lori, even if you are not so sure what course you want to study in college or what firm you want to work with after graduating, move out there, get a job and during these job opportunities will come flowing. You will get the direction of your life.

Lori Senecal is not the average woman you meet down the streets of New York. She has worked with worldwide-recognized companies like Coca-Cola and BMW. She has been in different top management positions, which she excelled and has seen her become a Global CEO today at Crispin Porter + Bogusky (CP+B), reports the Wall Street Journal. This is a position she has held for almost two years now since March 2015. She is a successful lady in marketing as she views it in terms of technology and innovation.

Before becoming the CEO at CP+B, Lori had worked in different companies including and positions such as being the President of McCann-Erickson Worldwide Flagship, being on the board of partners at MDC and working at Nestle. In all places she worked, her role as a strategist planner saw the firms/agencies grow globally, expanding their market through her innovative plans. Lori’s main lesson that she has learned throughout her career, and in all these places, she has worked, is that as an employee, one has to come up with a lucrative way of supporting the firms to believe in their core strategy. If a company encourages creativity, Lori is able to bring about unique ways of promoting creativity and increasing productivity.

Lori’s main observation throughout her career is that women tend to be shy to apply for open leadership positions. They wait until they feel comfortable about the skills required to make a move on those leadership positions. Women also prefer to be appointed instead of applying for various positions. According to Lori, one can create her top position in an agency or company by doing best what they know, and doing it in a unique way. You don’t have to necessarily change your line of expertise; all you have to do is to take your knowledge reach out to many and be profitable.

Lori Senecal’s skills as a leader come from her upbringing. Being the fourth daughter in a family of four girls, she had to be creative and business oriented. She picked these traits from her parents, and the fact that her sisters were all very smart and active people.
