With no love lost, rivals Nutrimost and Healthy Living find themselves in court. By a lawsuit filed in Federal Court, Nutrimost alleges Healthy Living, its rival in the weight loss business, stole a video that Nutrimost was promoting on its own website. The claim by Nutrimost states Healthy Living ripped off the video, and removed every reference to Nutrimost, and replaced it with the “Can’tLoseDiet”, a diet by Healthy Living.
Nutrimost claims that Healthy Living, even though removing all references to Nutrimost, kept customer testimonials, including the principal author of the weight loss program, Dr. Ray Wisniewski. Dr. Wisniewski is a chiropractor from Pennsylvania.
Weight loss company Nutrimost files lawsuit against rival Healthy Living for allegedly stealing promotional video
Nutrimost Resonance Frequency technology, called NRF, enables a person to lose 25-45 lbs of weight in 40 days with no hunger, no exercise, drugs, hormones, or pre-packaged meals whatsoever. This is a claim made by Nutrimost about its weight-loss program, and interestingly the identical claim is made by Healthy Living.
Healthy Living kept the video on its own website despite getting a cease-and-desist letter from the Federal Court. The only change to the video was making it shorter.
With all this, the video appears to have been taken down, but Nutrimost has asked that there be an order for Healthy Living never to show the video again, and pay over $300,000 in damages to Nutrimost.
